How to remain connected to yourself?
Just look at how you usually get connected with your dearest friends and family. You talk to them, listen to them, and pay 100% attention whenever you meet up with them.
When was the last time you get connected with the most inner part of yourself? Do you listen to your body, even the noises and voices in your mind? Feel the deepest sense of connection whenever you observe inwardly, try to put aside any criticism, complaint, judgements to yourself, and to others by focusing on the breathing, and energy flow in your body. You will feel the stillness and peace in yourself. That is, connection. This will bring you to the meaning of yoga, to reunite with your SELF.
Just like when you are connected with true friends, you can remain in silent but yet felt so comfortable with each other.
